Sessions
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday, term time only. We request that children attend a minimum of two sessions a week.
Session Options
Morning session: 9.15 – 12.15
Short Day session: 9.15 – 2.15
Full session: 9.15 – 2.45
We currently run Forest School sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Children who attend nursery on Wednesday and/or Friday mornings will usually be offered two six-week block sessions in the onsite Forest School as part of our universal offer. Children who attend nursery on Thursday will usually spend the morning in offsite Forest School and have that experience for the whole academic year.
Children staying for Short or Full sessions will need to bring a healthy packed lunch.
Fees & funding
Unfunded Session fees from april 2024
- £25.50 per morning session (9.15-12.15)
- Additional unfunded hours £8.50 per hour
We accept Childcare vouchers.
Our Funded Hours Offer
At St. Michael’s Nursery funded hours can only be claimed between 9.15 – 2.15. Additional hours will be charged at our unfunded rate.
Universal Funded Early Education Hours (all 3 & 4 year old children) – up to 15 hours
Extended Funded Early Education Hours (for eligible families) – up to 25 hours

We are able to share a child’s full entitlement with other providers.
Free Early Education Entitlement for Two year olds (FEET)
If your family receives certain benefits then your child may be eligible to claim a FEET funded place with us.
